Guess what? To solve the problem you have to use either Ultimate Vista or XP Professional or Windows 2000(are we still using this OS? hehehehe) this is the link that explain why Vista Home Basic is not the right OS for you to develop your prototype.

Internet Information Services (IIS)

Have you ever heard of IIS? Yes? No? Yes? No? Or ever heard of Apache? Basically, ISS function just like Apache server. It is a web-server that enable you to lari-lari run your asp script. ISS help you to deliver your application (that you have developed) to end-user.

In simpler term, you need a card to wish your mom happy birthday. The card act as ISS and your wish(that you've write on the card) act as language code. Your mom is the end-user. You need a card to deliver your wish to your mom. Hmmm.. Got it??

Enabling ASP.net for Home Vista Basic?

I've installed the IIS to enable me to view my asp files but somehow it's only result me with ERROR404..

Lemme show you the detail..

Don't you feel excited?? What is problem? How do you solve this? You just cannot simply build and develop the code.. And there goes your system.. It's not that easy for beginner.. Well, wait? there a lot more things that i need to learn.. This is just to configure the server..

But..

i do believe..

There is solution for this..
